Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 September 2026

LootUp (trading as lootupuk and lootupintl) is a UK-based, individually operated Pokémon TCG collection showcase and eBay seller. This policy explains what information we collect through this site and our eBay listings, and how it is used.

What we collect

  • Enquiry form. If you submit the enquiry form, we collect your name, email address, and message, processed via Web3Forms and delivered to a dedicated inbox.
  • Site analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which reports aggregate traffic (pages viewed, referrers, device type) without cookies or tracking individual visitors.
  • eBay orders. If you buy from one of our eBay listings, eBay collects and shares with us the order information needed to fulfil it (name, delivery address, order details). eBay's own privacy notice governs that relationship.

How we use it

Enquiry details are used only to reply to your enquiry. Order details from eBay are used only to pack and ship your order, and to meet our legal obligations as a seller (tax and accounting records). We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing.

What we don't collect

This site has no accounts, logins, or checkout - we never see or store payment card details. All payments for eBay orders are handled directly by eBay and its payment processors.

eBay account closure and deletion

If you are an eBay member and ask eBay to close or delete your account, eBay notifies sellers and applications like ours through its Marketplace Account Deletion / Account Closure Notification process. When we receive such a notification, we delete or anonymise any personal data we hold about you within 30 days, except where we are required by law (for example, tax records) to retain it for longer.

Data retention

Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and are deleted periodically thereafter. Order records tied to a completed eBay sale are kept for as long as UK tax law requires (currently up to 6 years).

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by getting in touch through the enquiry form on this site or via Instagram.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top reflects the latest revision.
